Who Do You Say That I Am? — 6th Week — Day 2 — Great Lent
Today’s Gospel: Luke 9:18–22
Key Verse:
“But who do you say that I am?” — Luke 9:20
Meditation
Jesus asks, “Who do you say that I am?” Lent is a journey to answer this question personally. Peter proclaimed, “You are the Christ of God,” when we believe this, our lives change. However, this belief requires sacrifice: We must die to sin and rise with Him. Lent calls us to embrace this transformation.
Early Church Fathers’ Saying
“Of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, of things in earth, and of infernal things, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.” — St. Cyprian of Carthage
Practical Practice
Take a moment for quiet prayer, allowing five minutes to connect with Christ. Whisper to Him who He is to you today. Let your heart speak honestly, and then write it down.
