Until You Say: Blessed Is He — 7th Week — Day 5 — Great Lent
Scripture Reading:
Luke 13:31–35
Key Verse:
“See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” – Luke 13:35
Meditation:
The Lord continues His work of healing and casting out demons until the very end, despite rejection. His love longs to gather us like a hen gathers her chicks—yet He will not force our will. Today is a day of visitation for the righteous, but a warning for the unrepentant: choose to be gathered under His wings.
Early Church Fathers’ Saying:
“Just as it is said to the sinner, ‘You are dust and to dust you shall return,’ so it is said to the saint, ‘You are heaven and to heaven you shall return.’”
– St. Jerome
Daily Practice:
Take a quiet moment today and say: “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” Let this be your invitation for Christ to dwell in your home and heart, not pass by.
