Heavenly Manna — Daily Nourishment from the Word of God

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6

In the quiet hours of the morning, a small seed was sown: a humble habit of sharing short reflections on the daily Gospel readings with a few faithful souls in a WhatsApp group we came to call Heavenly Manna.

Each day’s message was simple:

  • A brief meditation on the Gospel
  • A word from the Early Church Fathers
  • A practical step to live out the reading

These modest offerings—written between priestly visits, liturgies, and life’s interruptions—were never meant to be public. They were simply daily bread. But the Word of God, once sown, does not return void. It began to stir something deeper within me.

Why not gather the manna?

I began to ask myself: What if these daily meditations could be gathered, refined, and shared as sermons? Not only to bless others, but—if I may speak plainly—to bring order to the scattered fragments of my ministry:
Sermons saved across old laptops and iPads, voice notes on my phone, scanned scribbles from notebooks and bulletins—all waiting to be offered.

And thus, CopticSermons.com was born.

A Digital Altar

This platform is not a stage. It is an altar.
A place to proclaim Christ clearly, to revive the voice of the holy Fathers, and to offer spiritual nourishment to any soul hungry for righteousness.

Heavenly Manna is more than a blog series.
It is a return to the ancient rhythm of the Church: reading, meditating, and practicing the Word of God. It is an invitation to daily transformation.
