Bartimaeus and the Cry of Faith — 6th Week — Day 6 — Great Lent
Scripture Reading:
Mark 10:46–52
Key Verse:
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!’ (Mark 10:47, NKJV)
Meditation:
Blind Bartimaeus shouted, “Son of David, have mercy on me.” Sometimes, all it takes is a heartfelt cry that refuses to be silenced. Let your cry rise today. The Lord hears.
Early Church Fathers’ Saying:
“He who redeemed you shows you what He wants you to do: He wants you in constant prayer.” —St. John Chrysostom
Practical Practice:
Today, take time to experience the shortest and most powerful prayers: the “Jesus Prayer,” also known as the “Prayer of the Heart”: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.”
