Come Forth — 7th Week — Day 6 — Great Lent

Scripture Reading:

John 11:1–45

Key Verse:

“Jesus wept.” (John 11:35

Meditation:

Christ wept at the tomb of Lazarus—not because He lacked power, but because He shared in our pain. Yet He did not leave us in sorrow. He called Lazarus by name, commanding him: “Come forth!” Today, the Lord still weeps with us and calls us to rise from our tombs—of sin, fear, despair, and shame. Do you hear His voice?

Early Church Fathers’ Saying:

“Christ did not have to be born as a man, but He became man because of sin.”
— St. Ambrosiaster

Daily Practice:

Take a few minutes in silence. Ask: “Lord, what tomb are You calling me out of?”
Let His tears move you to repentance. Make time today for confession.
Walk the path of the Cross with Him, hand in hand.
