Faithful Ministry
This ministry flows from the Coptic Orthodox Church and serves the Body of Christ through faithful teaching, pastoral care, and presence in daily life.
The seed of CopticSermons.com was planted in simplicity—born from a daily habit of sharing short reflections on the Coptic lectionary readings with a small WhatsApp group called Heavenly Manna. These were modest offerings: a few paragraphs on the Gospel, a word from the Fathers, and a practical virtue to carry into the day. But the Word of God, once sown, desires to grow. It stirred within me a deeper desire: Why not share these reflections as daily sermons? Not only to serve others, but—if I may speak plainly—to gather and order the scattered pages of my own ministry: sermons on laptops, iPads, voice notes, even scanned scraps of handwritten thoughts. And so, this platform was born: a digital altar, where the truth of Christ might be proclaimed with clarity, rooted in the teachings of the holy Fathers, and offered as nourishment to any who hunger for righteousness (Matthew 5:6).
Pray for me, beloved, that I may begin this service in faith and continue it in obedience. And I invite you—any servant, preacher, or teacher rooted in the Coptic Orthodox tradition—to contribute as well. Let us, like the five loaves and two fish, offer what we have in love, and trust that God will multiply it for the feeding of many.
In Christ’s love,
Abouna Andrew Awad

Coptic Church
Rooted in apostolic tradition, flourishing in ancient faith.
A living testimony of Christ through the ages.

The Coptic Church
Behold the Coptic Orthodox Church: steadfast, ancient, and undefiled — a jewel among the nations, founded not by the will of man, but by the providence of God through Saint Mark the Apostle and Evangelist, disciple of the Lord and herald of His Gospel. As Egypt once cradled Pharaohs and kings, so now it guards

The Nicene Creed…
We believe in one God, God the Father, the Almighty, Who created heaven and earth, and all things, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-Begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten not created, of one essence with the Father, …

The School of Alexandria — A Lamp upon the Earth
With awe we recall the divine providence which planted in the city of Alexandria not only the seeds of faith, but also the fountains of wisdom. Just as the Holy Spirit descended in tongues of fire upon the Apostles, so too did He kindle within Egypt a sacred flame — the School of Alexandria, the first
The Church of the Martyrs — Crowned in Crimson Glory
Through the intercessions of the holy martyrs of the Coptic Church, who pleased Thee, O Lord, entreat on our behalf, that we may be granted a life of true faith, sincere repentance, and godly contrition, unto the end.
The Coptic Church is a pillar of faith
Let no man think that the glory of the Church lies in gold or in marble. No! Her beauty is in blood, her fragrance in faith, her crown in martyrdom. Behold Egypt — the land once filled with idols, now flowing with the blood of saints. For from the days of Septimius Severus to Diocletian the tyrant, the Church in Egypt stood like a pillar of fire, unshaken by sword, unbroken by flame, and unconquered by the gates
The 21 Martyrs of Libya — Baptized in Blood, Crowned in Glory
The 21 Coptic men martyred on the shores of Libya were not soldiers, nor agitators, nor men seeking wealth or war. They were laborers — fathers, sons, and brothers — who left their homeland not to gain riches, but to provide bread for their families. In their simplicity, they embodied strength; in their sacrifice, they revealed glory.
church Fathers
The Early Fathers of the Church are those who, by their godly leadership, defended, articulated, and deepened the doctrines of the true faith during the first four centuries of the Church.

Saint Clement of Alexandria
O beloved in Christ, let us give honor where honor is due—not to kings or rulers of this world, who pass away like the grass—but to those who shine with the uncreated light of the knowledge of God. Today, let us extol the memory of a noble vessel of the Logos, a torch in the ancient city of Alexandria, a golden-mouthed herald of heavenly wisdom: the blessed Clement of Alexandria.
Saint Cyril of Alexandria
Behold the pillar of the Orthodox faith, the golden mouth of Alexandria, the lamp that burned with wisdom and knowledge—Cyril the Great, who shone as a star in the firmament of the Church. From his youth was he nurtured in sacred doctrine by his uncle, Pope Theophilus, who adorned him with the wisdom of theology and philosophy.
